The tension between the Degeberga BK and the Kävlinge players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Kävlinge booed when Degeberga BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torbjörn Lidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roland Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Hultstrand in the 5th minute of the match. Peter Hafström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Roland Ekström made a huge save. In the 14th minute, Arne Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tord Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Löfgren in the 15th minute of the match. Ralf Hultstrand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ralf Hultstrand sped through Degeberga BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roland Ekström. 30 minutes into the match, Degeberga BK's goalkeeper Roland Ekström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Peter Hafström. Roland Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Hultstrand in the 36th minute of the match. Peter Hafström struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Roland Ekström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kävlinge. Ralf Hultstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Ekström having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ralf Hultstrand to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Hultstrand in the 53rd minute of play forced Degeberga BK's goalkeeper Roland Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ralf Hultstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Jens-Ola Eckegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Ralf Hultstrand cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Roland Ekström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ralf Hultstrand fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kävlinge's protests and gave Ralf Hultstrand a yellow card for diving instead. Ralf Hultstrand hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Kävlinge's Ralf Hultstrand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roland Ekström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 94thth minute of the game Peter Hafström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Degeberga BK's Roland Ekström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
