Väsby Pökers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörn Ferm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Magnus Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Asplund having to interfere. Wictor Vik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patric Henriksson came out and tried to block the shot, but Wictor Vik slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. Jens-Ola Linberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Jörn Ferm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Asplund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Väsby Pökers's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Emander came free, but Patric Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harald Tinglöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Asplund having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wictor Vik to strike the kick off in the second half. When Wictor Vik came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Torpsbruk FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wictor Vik couldn't finish the play. In the 54th minute, Jens-Ola Linberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Väsby Pökers's Jörn Ferm dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Väsby Pökers's Jörn Ferm got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, Torpsbruk FK's goalkeeper Alexander Asplund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harald Tinglöv. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wictor Vik in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patric Henriksson saved Väsby Pökers from getting behind. Alexander Asplund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörn Ferm in the 84th minute of the match. Alexander Asplund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Ferm in the 89th minute of play. Jörn Ferm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Asplund having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Väsby Pökers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Torpsbruk FK. Tor Björnberg stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Patric Henriksson. 3-2. Väsby Pökers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
