After some careless play in the Kvillsfors BK defense, Wilhelm Sandell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Ahlberg. The Kvillsfors BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Ahlberg should have stopped the shot. In the 7th minute, Wilhelm Sandell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paul Ahlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Lekberg in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes of play, Vitå IK's Allan Viklund made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paul Ahlberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kvillsfors BK's Paul Ahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patric Mårtensson in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Patric Mårtensson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Kvillsfors BK's Paul Ahlberg. Paul Ahlberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Kvillsfors BK defense, Wilhelm Sandell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Ahlberg. The Kvillsfors BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Ahlberg should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Kvillsfors BK's zone, Allan Viklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Ahlberg came out of the goal and Allan Viklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Kvillsfors BK's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Sandell came free, but Paul Ahlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Ahlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Lekberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Olof Lekberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Ahlberg having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patric Mårtensson to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Tomas Bark shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Ahlberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Kvillsfors BK's Nils Gråberg got a free kick in the 58th minute. Patric Mårtensson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Paul Ahlberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Allan Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Patric Mårtensson fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vitå IK's protests and gave Patric Mårtensson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vitå IK's Patric Mårtensson got a free kick in the 64th minute. Allan Viklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patric Mårtensson got free with Paul Ahlberg in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Wilhelm Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Viklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Ahlberg having to interfere. Kvillsfors BK's Paul Ahlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Snell in the 75th minute of play. Allan Viklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Ahlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Allan Viklund ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patric Mårtensson got free with Paul Ahlberg in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Allan Viklund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Paul Ahlberg made a huge save. After 85 minutes, Kjell Månsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvillsfors BK and the Vitå IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vitå IK booed when Kvillsfors BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell Månsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patric Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Ahlberg having to interfere. If Allan Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th match minute, Kvillsfors BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Kullander to maneuver through the defense. The Kvillsfors BK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Vitå IK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
