Örnas Legender's Marko Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torgny Henriksson in the 12th minute of play. When Victor Ödmann came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Skå fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Ödmann couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute Torgny Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Askelöf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 played minutes Örnas Legender got a freekick which was hit by Leif Bergqvist. Tage Lund shot a long shot in the 18th minute and a light blocked Marko Askelöf hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-1. Marko Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Ödmann in the 26th minute of play. Marko Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torgny Henriksson in the 31st minute of the match. Charlie Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eskil Odeen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Örnas Legender's David Beckham Jr got a free kick in the 34th minute. Victor Ödmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37thth minute of the game Torgny Henriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Örnas Legender's Marko Askelöf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Victor Ödmann managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skå's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Ödmann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marko Askelöf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torgny Henriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Torgny Henriksson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marko Askelöf was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. The supporters of Örnas Legender booed when Skå was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörgen Berggren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the game, Jörgen Berggren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skå's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Örnas Legender the free kick. After 59 played minutes Skå got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Berggren. If Eskil Odeen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Viklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Pilblad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Torgny Henriksson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Skå's Mats Bryngelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marko Askelöf stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torgny Henriksson's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 72nd match minute, Örnas Legender was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Enström to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Torgny Henriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Victor Ödmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Marko Askelöf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 81 in the game by Victor Ödmann from a close distance when the talented Marko Askelöf managed to make a qualified save. Örnas Legender's players were relieved. In the 84th minute, Torsten Pilblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Skå's zone, Torsten Pilblad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlie Viklund came out of the goal and Torsten Pilblad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Skå's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
