Jonatan Lundin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Håkan Bredberg made a huge save. Torshälla IS's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfred Mager was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arne Odén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Cereal Killers's zone, Manfred Mager stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Odén came out of the goal and Manfred Mager tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonatan Lundin struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Håkan Bredberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cereal Killers. Torshälla IS's Håkan Bredberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Åke Anundsson in the 42nd minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Gustaf Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Håkan Bredberg was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Patrick Nordin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrick Nordin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0.

The wind increased when Karl-Åke Anundsson made the kick off in the second half. Manfred Mager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Håkan Bredberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Åke Anundsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Odén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Hedbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute, Patrick Nordin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Morgan Hedbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Manfred Mager fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arne Odén, passed just outside the right post. Arne Odén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfred Mager in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute, Manfred Mager got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torshälla IS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
