Sandarne IK's Patrik Fagerberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Sandarne IK from getting a goal against them. Mats Vallengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mats Vallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Niklas Kihlberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Patrik Fagerberg made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Vallengren in the 20th minute of play forced Sandarne IK's goalkeeper Patrik Fagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st match minute, Sandarne IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Löfdahl to maneuver through the defense. Niklas Kihlberg took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Fagerberg. Patrik Fagerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Mats Vallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Mats Vallengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Fagerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Sandarne IK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Vallengren came free, but Patrik Fagerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Niklas Kihlberg came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Sätila fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niklas Kihlberg couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the game, Mats Vallengren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrik Fagerberg. Mats Vallengren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 44th match minute, Sandarne IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Apelqvist to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Åke Löfdahl was the one to do the kick off. Niklas Kihlberg took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Fagerberg. Patrik Fagerberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some careless play in the Sandarne IK defense, Niklas Kihlberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Fagerberg. The Sandarne IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Fagerberg should have stopped the shot. Patrik Fagerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mats Vallengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Patrik Fagerberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mats Vallengren went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 63 minutes into the match, Sandarne IK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Vallengren came free, but Patrik Fagerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mats Vallengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Niklas Kihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Fagerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Niklas Kihlberg made a precise shot to the right of Patrik Fagerberg. Sandarne IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Sandarne IK's Patrik Fagerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Vallengren in the 78th minute of play. Mats Vallengren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Patrik Fagerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Vallengren in the 92nd minute of play forced Sandarne IK's goalkeeper Patrik Fagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Sätila's Mats Vallengren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Fagerberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Niklas Kihlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
