Spectators: 7254 (Terracing: 5442, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when David Wiman took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jan Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Rune Bäckström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jan Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Michael Nässén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Abrahamsson in the 9th minute of play. Karl-Michael Nässén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Wiman's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Ängelholm's Nils Wållander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Bäckström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcus Hylander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils Wållander was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After a defensive mix-up in Ängelholm's zone, Robert Abrahamsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Michael Nässén came out of the goal and Robert Abrahamsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28thth minute of the game Nils Wållander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sollerön's Rune Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jan Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Pettersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karl-Michael Nässén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Wiman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sollerön booed when Ängelholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sollerön's David Wiman in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ängelholm's goalie prevented a goal. Nils Wållander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils Wållander to make the kick off. David Wiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, David Wiman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sollerön's supporters rose to their feet, but David Wiman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl-Michael Nässén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 59 minutes, Nils Wållander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ängelholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Wållander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jan Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Nils Wållander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ängelholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 67th match minute, Ängelholm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Hylander to maneuver through the defense. If David Wiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Michael Nässén stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David Wiman's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Jan Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sollerön's Rune Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Wållander in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Sollerön's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Wållander came free, but Rune Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Engström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jan Engström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Robert Abrahamsson fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sollerön's protests and gave Robert Abrahamsson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sollerön getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Robert Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Karl-Michael Nässén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Wiman in the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Ängelholm's goal looked a bit too open when David Wiman came free, but Karl-Michael Nässén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Engström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ängelholm's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
