Sten Örtendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Patrik Palm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, FAIF IS LIFE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Blomkvist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erling Bäcklin in the 12th minute of play forced Änglarna's goalkeeper Kalle Bergsten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalle Bergsten took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Mossberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kalle Bergsten came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by FAIF IS LIFE's Leif Mossberg. But to his dismay, Leif Mossberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Leif Mossberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kalle Bergsten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erling Bäcklin in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kalle Bergsten prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 31 minutes into the game, Helge Blomkvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kalle Bergsten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kalle Bergsten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erling Bäcklin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. With a little luck, FAIF IS LIFE's Patrik Palm got control of the ball when Bertil Ahlfors tried to sneak it across the goal line. Helge Blomkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sten Hård during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After the first half FAIF IS LIFE were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christian Matsson made a kick off. FAIF IS LIFE's Patrik Palm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Örtendal in the 52nd minute of play. When FAIF IS LIFE's Erling Bäcklin in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Änglarna's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute Sten Örtendal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Palm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertil Ahlfors scored 1-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patrik Palm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erling Bäcklin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Kalle Bergsten made a huge save. After 67 played minutes Änglarna got a freekick which was hit by Sten Örtendal. The long shot by Kent Forsberg in the 69th minute really tested Kalle Bergsten's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Leif Mossberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Kalle Bergsten made a huge save. Herbert Pettersson charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Pettersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Änglarna getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Herbert Pettersson hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, FAIF IS LIFE's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Matsson came free, but Patrik Palm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, FAIF IS LIFE's goal looked a bit too open when Leif Danielsson came free, but Patrik Palm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Palm came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Änglarna's Sten Örtendal. But to his dismay, Sten Örtendal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 90 minutes into the match, Christian Matsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrik Palm. FAIF IS LIFE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Matsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Thanks to some nice moves Leif Mossberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Kalle Bergsten however easily saved by the left post. Änglarna were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FAIF IS LIFE for a fine match.
