Christian Ekegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. After the first half Konyaspor were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Christian Ekegren was a little too slow when Aristide Giroux got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-6. With a little luck, Café bärs's Christian Ekegren got control of the ball when Edvard Snäll tried to sneak it across the goal line.
