Nicklas Matsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Edström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcus Edström in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicklas Matsson saved AIK Spiceboys from getting behind. If Stig-Ove Söder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles Ekerot kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Nicklas Matsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Edström's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Nicklas Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Diego Armando Maradona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Grönberg in the 32nd minute of play forced cAnDyRaTz!'s goalkeeper Hjalmar Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicklas Matsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matthias Holmgren went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nicklas Matsson came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by cAnDyRaTz!'s Matthias Holmgren. But to his dismay, Matthias Holmgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 43 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Söder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. cAnDyRaTz!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AIK Spiceboys the free kick. The supporters of AIK Spiceboys booed when cAnDyRaTz! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig-Ove Söder didn't get a good kick on the ball. cAnDyRaTz!'s Åke Björk managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tang Hao Wei in the 45 minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcus Edström to make the kick off. With a little luck, AIK Spiceboys's Nicklas Matsson got control of the ball when Marcus Edström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd minute, Ludvig Engman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIK Spiceboys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 61st match minute, AIK Spiceboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Gallberg to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Marcus Edström put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nicklas Matsson. A collision led to cAnDyRaTz! getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ragnar Eliasson hit a great ball. Tang Hao Wei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hjalmar Lidström having to interfere. Matthias Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Diego Armando Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hjalmar Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicklas Matsson came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by cAnDyRaTz!'s Marcus Edström. But to his dismay, Marcus Edström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. When Charles Ekerot fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK Spiceboys's protests and gave Charles Ekerot a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AIK Spiceboys getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Charles Ekerot hit a great ball. Nicklas Matsson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ragnar Eliasson. In the 90th minute, Matthias Holmgren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicklas Matsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Matthias Holmgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicklas Matsson having to interfere. In the 96th minute, AIK Spiceboys's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matthias Holmgren fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Marcus Edström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Nicklas Matsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. cAnDyRaTz!'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
