Spectators: 7552 (Terracing: 5742, Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 50) Mellerud IK's William Henriksson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Håkan Wall came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Stjärnhov BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Håkan Wall couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, William Henriksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isak Samuelsson during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 10th minute of the game. One of Mellerud IK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stjärnhov BK:s goal. Bartosz Bentkowski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octávio Pinheiro in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herman Flinck saved Mellerud IK from getting behind. In the 20th minute, William Henriksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Stjärnhov BK's Octávio Pinheiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Octávio Pinheiro did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Herman Flinck 29 minutes into the match. If Patrik Torsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Octávio Pinheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Flinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octávio Pinheiro to make the kick off. Karl-Axel Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Lukas Persson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lukas Persson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Torsberg in the 54th minute. Octávio Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 61 minutes, Octávio Pinheiro made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Mellerud IK's Herman Flinck tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 66 minutes, William Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mellerud IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Stjärnhov BK defense, William Henriksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lukas Persson. The Stjärnhov BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lukas Persson should have stopped the shot. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mellerud IK! Patrik Torsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octávio Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Herman Flinck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herman Flinck came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Stjärnhov BK's Octávio Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Octávio Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 87th minute, Octávio Pinheiro made a precise shot to the right of Herman Flinck. Mellerud IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. A collision led to Mellerud IK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. William Henriksson hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Roy Mårtensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mellerud IK's William Henriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stjärnhov BK fully deserved thier win.
