Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stasio Andrzejewski made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Irbis's Waclaw Adamus got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Marek Falkiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roch Kolbert. ZGR Rising Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marek Falkiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stasio Andrzejewski in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roch Kolbert saved ZGR Rising Stars from getting behind. Marek Falkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stasio Andrzejewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marek Falkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Roch Kolbert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stasio Andrzejewski in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roch Kolbert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 18 minutes, Wawrzyniec Rzeszutko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ZGR Rising Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wawrzyniec Rzeszutko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Olgierd Boruta fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ZGR Rising Stars's protests and gave Olgierd Boruta a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes ZGR Rising Stars got a freekick which was hit by Wawrzyniec Rzeszutko. Roch Kolbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Andrzejewski in the 29th minute of play. Roch Kolbert stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stasio Andrzejewski's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. If Marek Falkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stasio Andrzejewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olgierd Boruta was the one to do the kick off. Marek Falkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Kolbert having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Olgierd Boruta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZGR Rising Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Stasio Andrzejewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stasio Andrzejewski struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Roch Kolbert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Irbis. The crowd rose to their feet as Stasio Andrzejewski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roch Kolbert. That made the score 1-2 in the 77 minute of play. After 80 played minutes ZGR Rising Stars got a freekick which was hit by Ulryk Witek. When Marek Falkiewicz came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Irbis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marek Falkiewicz couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Irbis could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ZGR Rising Stars throughout the match.
