Dawid Giertych came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Nikutowen's Tobiasz Augustyn. But to his dismay, Tobiasz Augustyn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Nottingham Forest's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Jazowski came free, but Dawid Giertych reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dawid Giertych took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Czysta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobiasz Augustyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dawid Giertych tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15thth minute of the game Lech Czysta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nottingham Forest's Dawid Giertych was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tobiasz Augustyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulryk Kolbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Czysta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Boleslaw Kalinowski came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Nottingham Forest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boleslaw Kalinowski couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd match minute, Nottingham Forest was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryszard Brytan to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lech Czysta in the 38th minute of play forced Nottingham Forest's goalkeeper Dawid Giertych to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Nikutowen got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Plech. The Nottingham Forest players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nikutowen were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lech Czysta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nottingham Forest's goalkeeper Dawid Giertych, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tobiasz Augustyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dawid Giertych having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Tobiasz Augustyn notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Nottingham Forest's Dawid Giertych. Dawid Giertych was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Boleslaw Kalinowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lech Czysta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dawid Giertych tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dawid Giertych showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lech Czysta in the 68th minute of the match. Boleslaw Kalinowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nottingham Forest's zone, Lech Czysta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dawid Giertych came out of the goal and Lech Czysta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Nottingham Forest getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Boruc Liberko hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match it was 0-4 when Radoslaw Pyrzyce shot a long shot which zipped by Nottingham Forest's goalkeeper at the right pole. Nottingham Forest's Dawid Giertych proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Nottingham Forest from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nottingham Forest's goalkeeper Dawid Giertych, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Nikutowen's Dawid Giertych threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lech Czysta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tobiasz Augustyn succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 94th playminute. Nikutowen's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
