An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Brage Røhne got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Smeby in the 28th minute of play forced Selvaag's goalkeeper Tim Wolden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Selvaag's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Kasin came free, but Tim Wolden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ant Tuna scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tim Wolden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brage Røhne hit a great ball. Tim Wolden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Kasin in the 36th minute of the match. When Jonathan Smeby was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 41 minutes had been played. Jonathan Smeby hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Tim Wolden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erland Kasin in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ant Tuna was the one to do the kick off. Tim Wolden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erland Kasin, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 52 minutes into the game, Thomas Oksnes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Raimundo Martino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferdinand Størdal kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Hellmo fc's Erland Kasin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tim Wolden. Tim Wolden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Ant Tuna hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Sverre Rinde was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hellmo fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Selvaag the free kick. After 75 played minutes Hellmo fc got a freekick which was hit by Sverre Rinde. Tore Eng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Tim Wolden made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Hellmo fc's Ant Tuna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. In the 83rd minute, Hellmo fc's Ant Tuna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tim Wolden. Tim Wolden yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. In the 87th minute Erland Kasin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Wolden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Selvaag booed when Hellmo fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sverre Rinde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erland Kasin charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erland Kasin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erland Kasin kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hellmo fc eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
