The supporters of Oneill booed when De Piepies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Heida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oneill's Berkin Adsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Romano in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Steven Heida made a precise shot to the right of Berkin Adsoy. Oneill's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. De Piepies's Mark Tyson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marnix Boschker in the 15th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Marnix Boschker reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mark Tyson. The goal made the score 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Oneill's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Romano came free, but Berkin Adsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marnix Boschker struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Mark Tyson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oneill. 34 minutes into the game, Oneill's Roberto Baggio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mark Tyson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Marnix Boschker was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Oneill's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

A collision led to De Piepies getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ruben van Zaanen hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Oneill's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Romano came free, but Berkin Adsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De Piepies were furious when Leendert Lurling was red carded, 71 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Oneill a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonas Rio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of De Piepies's Mark Tyson. 4-1. 76 minutes into the game, Marnix Boschker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Mark Tyson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 81 minutes into the match, De Piepies's goal looked a bit too open when Marnix Boschker came free, but Mark Tyson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mark Tyson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Baggio, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Jonas Rio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The audience was convinced that Roberto Baggio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mark Tyson was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Roberto Baggio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mark Tyson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. If Marnix Boschker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Baggio scored 6-1 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mark Tyson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
