Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabiano Borromeo took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Andrea Bracco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. totaalvoetbal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Carlo AFC the free kick. San Carlo AFC's Ennio Serantoni was substituted for Alfonso Schiavo. Andrea Bracco hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Fabiano Borromeo in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ettore Maccioni, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, San Carlo AFC's Fausto Piccone got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Carozza in the 11th minute of play forced San Carlo AFC's goalkeeper Ettore Maccioni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Carmine Sacchetti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Carlo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Emilio Cabrini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Ragusa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Carlo AFC's Ettore Maccioni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Bracco in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, totaalvoetbal's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Caccavale came free, but Emilio Cabrini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, San Carlo AFC's Ennio Serantoni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilio Cabrini made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Emilio Cabrini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Piccone in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind San Carlo AFC's goalkeeper Ettore Maccioni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emilio Cabrini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Caccavale in the 40th minute of play. Emilio Cabrini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Caccavale, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 68thth minute of the game Alessandro Carozza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Carlo AFC's Ettore Maccioni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Claudio Andreoli fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Carlo AFC's protests and gave Claudio Andreoli a yellow card for diving instead. Claudio Andreoli hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, San Carlo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Carozza came free, but Ettore Maccioni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Fabiano Borromeo put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ettore Maccioni. Ettore Maccioni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Borromeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of San Carlo AFC booed when totaalvoetbal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Borromeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 87 minutes into the game, Ennio Serantoni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilio Cabrini. Ennio Serantoni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. With a little luck, totaalvoetbal's Emilio Cabrini got control of the ball when Fausto Piccone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edoardo Castronovo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabiano Borromeo took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ettore Maccioni. Ettore Maccioni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. San Carlo AFC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because totaalvoetbal had won, even though San Carlo AFC had held more of the ball.
