Brion F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ruperto Diez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quintin Urbieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telesforo Redondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the Brion F.C. defense, Ruperto Diez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quintin Urbieta. The Brion F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quintin Urbieta should have stopped the shot. If Dagoberto Lacorte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raymond Agbaje in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quintin Urbieta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Club Deportivo Castellón's Raymond Agbaje in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brion F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Quintin Urbieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinedine Arnou in the 25th minute of play. Quintin Urbieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Diez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferman Cañadas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donatello Palencia in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match, Donatello Palencia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ferman Cañadas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 38 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Castellón's Raymond Agbaje made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quintin Urbieta was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quintin Urbieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Agbaje in the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raymond Agbaje in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quintin Urbieta saved Brion F.C. from getting behind. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Ruperto Diez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quintin Urbieta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Lacorte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ferman Cañadas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raymond Agbaje could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Quintin Urbieta made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Raymond Agbaje left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Castellón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 64th play minute Raymond Agbaje came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Quintin Urbieta. 1-4. The supporters of Club Deportivo Castellón booed when Brion F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nevada Baeza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute Sigfrido Barrios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferman Cañadas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Raymond Agbaje recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Quintin Urbieta. Raymond Agbaje showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. When the match was over Club Deportivo Castellón could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brion F.C. throughout the match.
