Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Serginho Massa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luzaga's Germán Perpiñán proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Luzaga from getting a goal against them. In the 18th minute, Carolo Orozco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeru Peña was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Luzaga's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Juanito Gil was slow to take the kick. During this time SPL's players had a chance to rest. SPL's Juanito Gil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Germán Perpiñán in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mauro Caviezel kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 35th minute Carolo Orozco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeru Peña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germán Perpiñán made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isandro Erosa in the 36th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Carolo Orozco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeru Peña was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luzaga's Ramone Turienzo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Veremundo Alcantara to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Ramone Turienzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SPL fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when SPL's Veremundo Alcantara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 62 minutes into the game, Marcial Benedicto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SPL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luzaga the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, SPL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcial Benedicto to maneuver through the defense. Carolo Orozco, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Luzaga's Carolo Orozco got a free kick in the 64th minute. Columbo Mudarra hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Carolo Orozco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luzaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Orozco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeru Peña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Luzaga's zone, Veremundo Alcantara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Germán Perpiñán came out of the goal and Veremundo Alcantara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the match, Veremundo Alcantara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Germán Perpiñán. Luzaga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Veremundo Alcantara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When the referee ended the match the SPL players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
