Lynge Kongstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Östermarke. Östermarke's Balthasar Rifberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rainer Kørdal in the 12th minute of play. Lynge Kongstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hassan Elsvard, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Balthasar Rifberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainer Kørdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, one of Bayer FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Östermarke a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bo O'Neal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bayer FC's Lynge Kongstein. 0-1. Lynge Kongstein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asgar Karner went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hassan Elsvard in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lynge Kongstein prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bayer FC's Lynge Kongstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassan Elsvard in the 37th minute of play. Hassan Elsvard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lynge Kongstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Villy Stilborg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayer FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Villy Stilborg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balthasar Rifberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigismund Wædegaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Balthasar Rifberg having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Östermarke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Assenholm to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rainer Kørdal made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Asgar Karner fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lynge Kongstein, passed just outside the right post. Lynge Kongstein was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kenneth Assenholm showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 58 minute of play. If Asgar Karner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lynge Kongstein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hassan Elsvard in the 67th minute. Hassan Elsvard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sigismund Wædegaard fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayer FC's protests and gave Sigismund Wædegaard a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bayer FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Sigismund Wædegaard hit a great ball. Balthasar Rifberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rainer Kørdal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lynge Kongstein made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Hassan Elsvard sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Asgar Karner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, Asgar Karner reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lynge Kongstein. The goal made the score 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Assenholm in the 91st minute of play forced Bayer FC's goalkeeper Lynge Kongstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Bayer FC booed when Östermarke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Fleron didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Östermarke left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bayer FC.
