Gregor Dörfler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hermann Schlief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregor Dörfler struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Hermann Schlief didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg e.V. Gideon Kandelhard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermann Schlief read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gideon Kandelhard sped through Roter Stern Bonn FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hermann Schlief. Gideon Kandelhard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Hermann Schlief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gideon Kandelhard in the 40th minute of play forced Roter Stern Bonn FC's goalkeeper Hermann Schlief to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gideon Kandelhard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hermann Schlief tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hermann Schlief showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregor Dörfler, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mattes Wacker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Gregor Dörfler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg e.V's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregor Dörfler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Roter Stern Bonn FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Damir Jordan hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gideon Kandelhard in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hermann Schlief prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claus Allensbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Bracht in the 63rd minute of play. A long shot from Michel Frenne de in the 68th minute of play was well struck, but Hermann Schlief made a really good save at the right post. Gregor Dörfler's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Hermann Schlief skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Mattes Wacker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jörg Felski fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg e.V's protests and gave Jörg Felski a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Roter Stern Bonn FC booed when TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg e.V was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörg Felski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gideon Kandelhard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregor Dörfler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Schlief having to interfere. Michel Frenne de took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hermann Schlief. Roter Stern Bonn FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Heiner Wilhelmi got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th minute, Heiner Wilhelmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Roter Stern Bonn FC got a corner. TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg e.V's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bastiaan Gläßel ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg e.V's goalie and right to Niclas Kleinfeld. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. TSV Böhlitz-Ehrenberg e.V's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Gregor Dörfler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
