Marcel Falke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Kohlenbrenner in the 12th minute. Maximilian Benedix's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Marcel Falke firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Hückeswagen getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Maximilian Benedix hit a great ball. Götz Faße fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Falke having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Degermenci's zone, Götz Faße stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcel Falke came out of the goal and Götz Faße tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elias Kohlenbrenner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Marcel Falke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcel Falke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Götz Faße in the 37th minute of the match. Elias Kohlenbrenner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Falke having to make a save. Marcel Falke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Götz Faße in the 41st minute of play. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Götz Faße sped through Degermenci's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcel Falke. After 95 played minutes Hückeswagen got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Benedix. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hückeswagen fully deserved thier win.
