After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Zdeněk Snášel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rabin's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdeněk Snášel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Schiller in the 52nd minute of play forced Rabin's goalkeeper Aleš Slováček to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michal Rotrekl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleš Slováček read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Aleš Slováček took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Schiller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
