Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) Augst AC's Alexander Feer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Augst AC's Fernando Pfund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucien Sandmeyer in the 3rd minute of play. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Seeberg. Silverio Lenz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernando Pfund. 0-1. Moritz Saenger made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marc Pelchat in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Didier Finger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philip Mottolese charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Philip Mottolese the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Augst AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Mottolese to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Seeberg's Silverio Lenz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 19thth minute of the game Reynold Zeier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Augst AC's Fernando Pfund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lars Winiker was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the game, one of Augst AC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ben Stöckli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Lucien Sandmeyer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seeberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucien Sandmeyer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Pfund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute Lucien Sandmeyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Pfund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Pfund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucien Sandmeyer in the 39th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Augst AC defense, Lucien Sandmeyer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Pfund. The Augst AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Pfund should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Augst AC's zone, Lucien Sandmeyer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Pfund came out of the goal and Lucien Sandmeyer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

Lucien Sandmeyers short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Fernando Pfund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 55th minute of the match Gabriel Graf shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernando Pfund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Augst AC's Fernando Pfund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Augst AC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynold Zeier in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Pfund saved Augst AC from getting behind. Didier Finger hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Augst AC's goalkeeper Fernando Pfund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moritz Saenger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Pelchat, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Reynold Zeier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernando Pfund, 0-4. In the 83rd minute, Luca Albisser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes, Didier Finger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seeberg and the Augst AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Seeberg's Didier Finger got a free kick in the 84th minute. Luca Albisser kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Lucien Sandmeyer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucien Sandmeyer got free with Fernando Pfund in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Seeberg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Seeberg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
