They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcel Mustățea was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Ionuț Podgoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sitani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ionuț Podgoreanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Constantin Răchiteanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeo Petrean was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 56 minutes into the match, Sitani's Ionuț Podgoreanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Romeo Petrean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Constantin Răchiteanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeo Petrean was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. After a rather tough play, Sitani's Tudor Mazilu got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sitani's zone, Marcel Mustățea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihail Ogică came out of the goal and Marcel Mustățea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionuț Podgoreanu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 63rd playminute. Ionuț Podgoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Romeo Petrean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gică Buhuș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Sitani getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Tudor Mazilu hit a great ball. If Ionuț Podgoreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Ionuț Podgoreanu notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Aranghelul's Romeo Petrean. Romeo Petrean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 90 minutes into the match, Aranghelul's goalkeeper Romeo Petrean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantin Răchiteanu. Ionuț Podgoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Petrean having to interfere.
