Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Stefan Rusu made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th match minute, FC SCORPIONUL BAIA MARE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Rusu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 13 minutes, Stefan Rusu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC SCORPIONUL BAIA MARE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Rusu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Harry Suciu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rares Chiru. The goal made the score 2-0. Rares Chiru came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.Marosvasarhely's Petrică Petrulean. But to his dismay, Petrică Petrulean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 27 minutes into the match, F.C.Marosvasarhely's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Rusu came free, but Horea Tender reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, Stefan Rusu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Horea Tender was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Horea Tender showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Rusu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute, Carl Majman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horea Tender was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Suciu in the 47th minute of play forced FC SCORPIONUL BAIA MARE's goalkeeper Rares Chiru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harry Suciu to strike the kick off in the second half. Harry Suciu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rares Chiru having to make a save. Rares Chiru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Petrulean in the 53rd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Carl Majman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rares Chiru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Suciu in the 60th minute of the match. Serban Daria hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Rares Chiru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karol Kapera went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Stefan Rusu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Horea Tender tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of FC SCORPIONUL BAIA MARE booed when F.C.Marosvasarhely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Petrulean didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FC SCORPIONUL BAIA MARE's Sorin Ene got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ovidiu Roşoga struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Rares Chiru didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C.Marosvasarhely. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidiu Roşoga during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, F.C.Marosvasarhely's Ovidiu Roşoga got a free kick in the 75th minute. Sorin Ene, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. F.C.Marosvasarhely's Horea Tender played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Rusu in the 79th minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC SCORPIONUL BAIA MARE's Horea Tender threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stefan Rusu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 82nd match minute, FC SCORPIONUL BAIA MARE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Oprea to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, FC SCORPIONUL BAIA MARE's Carl Majman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Tender narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Carl Majman came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC SCORPIONUL BAIA MARE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Majman couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute, Carl Majman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Horea Tender. The goal made the score 5-3. F.C.Marosvasarhely's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
