Dorin Dobrin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Loisy in the 42nd minute of the match. Ştefan Morozan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolae Amurăriței, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Segura.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teddy Loisy made a kick off. Iustin Drăgan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Sepsi Osk defense, Tobias Bengtsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorin Dobrin. The Sepsi Osk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorin Dobrin should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Teddy Loisy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galatasaray fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. In the 81st match minute, Sepsi Osk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelian Popoiu to maneuver through the defense. Dorin Dobrin came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray's Teddy Loisy. But to his dismay, Teddy Loisy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. The Galatasaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ştefan Morozan should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Galatasaray's zone, Aurelian Popoiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Morozan came out of the goal and Aurelian Popoiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Ernest Grama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Teddy Loisy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorin Dobrin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sepsi Osk's Dorin Dobrin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Iraunkor in the 94th minute of play. Galatasaray's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
