Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nichifor Muraru kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Sepsi-SIC's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Rareș came free, but Andrei Maghear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sepsi-SIC's Andrei Maghear proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Sepsi-SIC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sepsi-SIC's Nichifor Muraru got a free kick in the 10th minute. Bogdan Hosu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nichifor Muraru in the 13th minute of the match. Bogdan Hosu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Vasiliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florin Rareș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrei Maghear read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Sepsi-SIC got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Cernat. Sepsi-SIC's Constantin Vasiliu got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florin Rareș in the 31st minute of play forced Sepsi-SIC's goalkeeper Andrei Maghear to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Florin Rareș dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrei Maghear, 1-0. With a little luck, Sepsi-SIC's Andrei Maghear got control of the ball when Olimpiu Siclovan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florin Rareș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andrei Maghear read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florin Rareș in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Maghear prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 44th match minute, Sepsi-SIC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pompiliu Cernat to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florin Rareș made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sepsi-SIC's goal looked a bit too open when Olimpiu Siclovan came free, but Andrei Maghear reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Maghear made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olimpiu Siclovan in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Olimpiu Siclovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Maghear saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Maghear showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florin Rareș, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Olimpiu Siclovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70thth minute of the game Olimpiu Siclovan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sepsi-SIC's Andrei Maghear was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Andrei Maghear stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florin Rareș's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. When Pungesti AFC's Florin Rareș in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sepsi-SIC's goalie prevented a goal. Olimpiu Siclovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Maghear having to interfere. Nichifor Muraru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Bogdan Hosu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrei Maghear didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florin Rareș went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bogdan Hosu made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Nichifor Muraru sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Pungesti AFC's Marius Timofte seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marius Timofte the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Pungesti AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marius Timofte had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 89th minute, one of Pungesti AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pungesti AFC. 92 minutes into the match, Andrei Huidu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Hosu. Pungesti AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Huidu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sepsi-SIC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pungesti AFC.
