In the 16th minute, Ramon Lombera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Licuriciu's goalkeeper Horaţiu Oravițan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bogdan Isărescu. The crowd rose to their feet as Nae Hârțan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horaţiu Oravițan. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 27th minute, Nae Hârțan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Horaţiu Oravițan, passed just outside the right post. Horaţiu Oravițan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Lombera, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Horaţiu Oravițan was a little too slow when Nae Hârțan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. Horaţiu Oravițan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Horaţiu Oravițan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Isărescu in the 38th minute of play. With a little luck, Licuriciu's Horaţiu Oravițan got control of the ball when Osvaldo Fontana tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Nae Hârțan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Horaţiu Oravițan. That made the score 6-0 in the 46 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irinel Staicu made a kick off. Horaţiu Oravițan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Lombera, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Fontana in the 53rd minute of play forced Licuriciu's goalkeeper Horaţiu Oravițan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Ramon Lombera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Horaţiu Oravițan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Licuriciu's Horaţiu Oravițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Lombera in the 62nd minute of play. CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Osvaldo Fontana in the 63rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Osvaldo Fontana got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Horaţiu Oravițan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 65 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Fontana notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Licuriciu's Horaţiu Oravițan. Horaţiu Oravițan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horaţiu Oravițan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Lombera in the 69th minute of the match. When Osvaldo Fontana came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the CS UNIVERSATEA CRAIOVA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldo Fontana couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute Nae Hârțan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Oravițan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Licuriciu's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Isărescu came free, but Horaţiu Oravițan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nae Hârțan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Oravițan having to interfere. Horaţiu Oravițan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Hârțan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
