Mesa Didyma's Minas Skiadopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akakios Kitrinidis in the 18th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Errikos Fyssas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arbaouti's Apostolos Bonos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Errikos Fyssas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apostolos Bonos. Arbaouti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Errikos Fyssas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Arbaouti's zone, Vaggelis Spetsarias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apostolos Bonos came out of the goal and Vaggelis Spetsarias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sokratis Passaris took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Apostolos Bonos. Arbaouti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When %teams%'s Vassilis Logothetis was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 1-1 just inside the left pole, 38 minutes into the game. Minas Skiadopoulos was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Mesa Didyma's goal looked a bit too open when Akakios Kitrinidis came free, but Minas Skiadopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alekos Koutsomitras's late challenge caught a Arbaouti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alekos Koutsomitras helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Mesa Didyma booed when Arbaouti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonidas Kastaniadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 73 in the game by Errikos Fyssas from a close distance when the talented Apostolos Bonos managed to make a qualified save.
