Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Lakis Papafotiou started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kyriakos Thanoglou made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Nontas Pantelidis sent off a good shot on target. If Lakis Papafotiou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Koupaki BC's Nontas Seftelis got a free kick in the 9th minute. Nontas Pantelidis struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Kyriakos Thanoglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ILISIAKOS AC. Louis Giannakakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zacharias Lagoudakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Nontas Pantelidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kyriakos Thanoglou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nontas Pantelidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Zacharias Lagoudakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lakis Papafotiou in the 22nd minute of play. Nontas Pantelidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kyriakos Thanoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostas Katsimichas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 39th minute Louis Giannakakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacharias Lagoudakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Koupaki BC's Lakis Papafotiou made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zacharias Lagoudakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nontas Pantelidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyriakos Thanoglou having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 minutes of play, ILISIAKOS AC's Nontas Pantelidis made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kyriakos Thanoglou was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th match minute, ILISIAKOS AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theofanis Kouroupakis to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 62 in the game by Louis Giannakakos from a close distance when the talented Zacharias Lagoudakis managed to make a qualified save. ILISIAKOS AC's players were relieved. Lakis Papafotiou struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Zacharias Lagoudakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Koupaki BC. In the 67th minute, Kostas Katsimichas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kyriakos Thanoglou was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kyriakos Thanoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nontas Pantelidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Louis Giannakakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zacharias Lagoudakis having to interfere. Lakis Papafotiou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Zacharias Lagoudakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louis Giannakakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Zacharias Lagoudakis made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Koupaki BC's goal looked a bit too open when Nontas Pantelidis came free, but Kyriakos Thanoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kyriakos Thanoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nontas Pantelidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute Kostas Katsimichas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyriakos Thanoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Kostas Katsimichas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ILISIAKOS AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 96 minutes into the match, ILISIAKOS AC's Nontas Pantelidis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kyriakos Thanoglou narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Koupaki BC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
