An unexpectedly hard shot by Petri Palenius in the 13th minute of play forced fc nix's goalkeeper Jukka Viander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miska Miettinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jukka Viander made a huge save. The supporters of Huovila IFK booed when fc nix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martti Torkkeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jukka Viander made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Miska Miettinen sent off a good shot on target. Petri Palenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jukka Viander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, fc nix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pentti Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Miska Miettinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jukka Viander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petri Palenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miska Miettinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jukka Viander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Huovila IFK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. fc nix were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petri Palenius made a kick off. If Petri Palenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. Jukka Viander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petri Palenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Miska Miettinen struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jukka Viander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huovila IFK. After 78 minutes of play, fc nix's Tero Pikkarainen made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jukka Viander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miska Miettinen went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. If Miska Miettinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 played minutes Huovila IFK got a freekick which was hit by Aappo Lumio. Elmer Malmivaara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jalmari Eloranta, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. fc nix were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Huovila IFK's much stronger midfield.
