Kaleva Heinola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einari Teräs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ajax Ajax's Panu Kangasniemi got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ajax Ajax's Kaleva Heinola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einari Teräs in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Sjundeby FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eemeli Hiedanpää came free, but Jukka Brinck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Ajax Ajax's Kaleva Heinola got control of the ball when Joonatan Kuparinen tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Valto Lehto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ajax Ajax's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sjundeby FC the free kick. The supporters of Sjundeby FC booed when Ajax Ajax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valto Lehto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Einari Teräs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaleva Heinola having to interfere. Valto Lehto took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jukka Brinck. Jukka Brinck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pentti Brinck hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes Ajax Ajax got a freekick which was hit by Panu Kangasniemi. When Einari Teräs fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sjundeby FC's protests and gave Einari Teräs a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Joonatan Kuparinen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Valkama charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Valkama the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Robert Valkama kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Kaleva Heinola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Einari Teräs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 46 minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some careless play in the Ajax Ajax defense, Joonatan Kuparinen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaleva Heinola. The Ajax Ajax fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaleva Heinola should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ajax Ajax getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Panu Kangasniemi hit a great ball. When Rafael Kiprusoff came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ajax Ajax fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Kiprusoff couldn't finish the play. Eemeli Hiedanpää recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joonatan Kuparinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaleva Heinola having to interfere. Jukka Brinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panu Kangasniemi in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ajax Ajax's Rafael Kiprusoff got a free kick in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Valto Lehto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jukka Brinck. Valto Lehto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, Sjundeby FC's Pentti Brinck got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ajax Ajax's Eemeli Hiedanpää got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sjundeby FC's Jukka Brinck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Sjundeby FC from getting a goal against them. Kaleva Heinola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joonatan Kuparinen in the 90th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Ajax Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Joonatan Kuparinen came free, but Kaleva Heinola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ajax Ajax walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
