Spectators: 8392 (Terracing: 6296, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) Elgiz Vermäliyev made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute, Markku Takala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jyri Etula in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Krister Odin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Krister Odin came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by PR Merkkausvirhe's Jyri Etula. But to his dismay, Jyri Etula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th match minute, PR Merkkausvirhe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joonas Pärssinen to maneuver through the defense. Joakim Lumme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Krister Odin made a huge save. Potoskavaara IFK's Krister Odin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jyri Etula in the 18th minute of play. With an all-out effort, PR Merkkausvirhe's Krister Odin threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jyri Etula, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Elgiz Vermäliyev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Akseli Sulku tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Potoskavaara IFK's goalkeeper Krister Odin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joakim Lumme. A collision led to Potoskavaara IFK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Markku Takala hit a great ball. Krister Odin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jyri Etula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joakim Lumme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Krister Odin made a huge save. The supporters of Potoskavaara IFK booed when PR Merkkausvirhe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jyri Etula didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommi Palo charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tommi Palo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to PR Merkkausvirhe getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Tommi Palo hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Jyri Etula reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Krister Odin. The goal made the score 2-0.

In the 54th minute, Tarmo Koivuranta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Potoskavaara IFK's Elgiz Vermäliyev got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 57 minutes, Markku Takala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potoskavaara IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Markku Takala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Krister Odin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jyri Etula, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Krister Odin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Lumme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Potoskavaara IFK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Markku Takala hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Jyri Etula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krister Odin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joakim Lumme took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krister Odin. Krister Odin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Joonas Pärssinen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Jyri Etula notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Potoskavaara IFK's Krister Odin. Krister Odin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Krister Odin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Lumme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
