An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Reeder in the 17th minute of play forced SK Meedla's goalkeeper Tom Varblane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Martin Lukk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SK Meedla the free kick. In the 20th match minute, FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Lukk to maneuver through the defense. Tom Varblane didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julius Kaare went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Bert Lumi came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bert Lumi couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute, SK Meedla's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gunnar Reeder fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to SK Meedla getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Valdo Vaarandi hit a great ball. The throw-in from Siim Ojaperv in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's Bert Lumi. If Bert Lumi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Bert Lumi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bert Lumi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's Julius Kaare nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tom Varblane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The SK Meedla fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
