With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aare Veermäe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the game, Mario Lainevoog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saue Highschool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi the free kick. After 26 played minutes, FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's Gunnar Reeder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aare Veermäe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi reached it. It was a penalty for FC Saue Highschool! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Uku Aver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aare Veermäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ardo Tuul received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aare Veermäe came out and tried to block the shot, but Ardo Tuul slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 55th minute. A collision led to FC Saue Highschool getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Kaljo Oad hit a great ball. Bert Lumi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uku Aver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Aare Veermäe made a huge save. FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's Bert Lumi got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Reeder in the 79th minute of play forced FC Saue Highschool's goalkeeper Aare Veermäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bert Lumi got free with Aare Veermäe in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Laur Lööper got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, FC Saue Highschool's Mario Lainevoog got a free kick in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Laur Lööper managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi's supporters rose to their feet, but Laur Lööper was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aare Veermäe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Bert Lumi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gunnar Reeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aare Veermäe having to interfere. A collision led to FC Saue Highschool getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mario Lainevoog hit a great ball. The FC Saue Highschool fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Pirita Jalgpalliklubi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
