The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Makareus Triantis came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the TOPMUG - Sombra Amarella fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Makareus Triantis couldn't finish the play. Alkibiades Makricosta's late challenge caught a WARRIORS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alkibiades Makricosta helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Alkibiades Makricosta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes, WARRIORS's Dioskouroi Fitzios shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anios Mentis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in WARRIORS reached it. When Babbis Louverdis came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the WARRIORS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Babbis Louverdis couldn't finish the play. Anios Mentis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonidas Soukis's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. WARRIORS's Leonidas Soukis got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, WARRIORS's Leonidas Soukis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anios Mentis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Makareus Triantis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonidas Soukis struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Anios Mentis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WARRIORS. Leonidas Soukis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of TOPMUG - Sombra Amarella booed when WARRIORS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tolis Fotopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Keyx Paraskevopoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Briarios Tsahalis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind WARRIORS's goalkeeper Briarios Tsahalis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Makareus Triantis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 48th minute of the match TOPMUG - Sombra Amarella got a corner. WARRIORS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Keyx Paraskevopoulos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Keyx Paraskevopoulos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but WARRIORS's Briarios Tsahalis did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Makareus Triantis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. TOPMUG - Sombra Amarella's Makareus Triantis got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 75 minutes, Babbis Louverdis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WARRIORS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Louverdis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anios Mentis was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Leonidas Soukis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leonidas Soukis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 83rd match minute, WARRIORS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolis Fotopoulos to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute, Alkibiades Makricosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Leonidas Soukis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Although TOPMUG - Sombra Amarella had been in control for most of the match, WARRIORS still came away with the win.
