The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Özdemir Ökmener showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Özdemir Ökmener didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Semih Türcan went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 22 minutes, Ali Hamza Umar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malatyaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Hamza Umar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artun Irmak hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Birkan Ahioğlu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Yusuf Ziya Kemal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kigi. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Ali Hamza Umar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Özdemir Ökmener having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ali Hamza Umar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kigi's Özdemir Ökmener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fehmi Ahıska in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Cankut Pınarbaşı notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Kigi's Özdemir Ökmener. Özdemir Ökmener was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Malatyaspor's attack was well implemented in the 85th minute, but when Semih Türcan was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The supporters of Kigi booed when Malatyaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Göktuğ Oyman didn't get a good kick on the ball.
