But to his dismay, Ollie Davey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 15th of the match, Ollie Davey tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dean Cookson got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a defensive mix-up in ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's zone, Sol Gallacher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cody York came out of the goal and Sol Gallacher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Cody York played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sol Gallacher in the 30th minute of play. Daniel Saunders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Newcastle-upon-Tyne City's Sol Gallacher got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Max Hibbert hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harvey Simms during the 62nd minute. When Sol Gallacher came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Newcastle-upon-Tyne City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sol Gallacher couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Cody York got control of the ball when Sol Gallacher tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sol Gallacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Cody York tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Sol Gallacher made a precise shot to the right of Cody York. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Cody York proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ from getting a goal against them. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
