Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Ollie Davey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Cody York played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Burns in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute, Greg Burns got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rupert Avery showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ollie Davey, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Silvester Knight sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Sebastien Wakefield got a free kick in the 11th minute. Greg Burns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rupert Avery came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Silvester Knight. But to his dismay, Silvester Knight quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 29th minute, Silvester Knight hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Turner came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rupert Avery could save by the left post. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Ivan Turner sped through Eastbourne FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rupert Avery. Damian Gunn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cody York. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute, Ollie Davey fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rupert Avery, passed just outside the right post. Greg Burns charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greg Burns the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Greg Burns hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alec Mason to make the kick off. Rupert Avery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Harding in the 52nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Ollie Davey notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Eastbourne FC's Rupert Avery. Rupert Avery was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Ollie Davey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rupert Avery was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. When Johnathon Truscott fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ's Ollie Davey got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Greg Burns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cody York tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ollie Davey in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rupert Avery saved Eastbourne FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Turner in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rupert Avery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ booed when Eastbourne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnathon Truscott didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ had played much better football throughout.
