Eros André made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Paradox FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Åke Hedlund came free, but Eros André reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Valencia CF Mindszent were awarded a corner. Andri Shevchenko went to the cornerflag to take it. Ola Möller made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arne Linberg immediately put the ball in play. 20 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Daniel Banaszak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arne Linberg. Jan-Åke Hedlund struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Eros André didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valencia CF Mindszent. Eros André showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcell Kiss, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 32nd minute Jan-Åke Hedlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eros André saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saltuk Peykan kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Daniel Banaszak, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Jan-Åke Hedlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eros André was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Åke Hedlund in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eros André prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Dahlkvist was the one to do the kick off. The throw-in from Ola Möller in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valencia CF Mindszent's Ovidiu Adrian. Jan-Åke Hedlund who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Eros André when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60thth minute of the game Jan-Åke Hedlund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paradox FC's Eros André was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Jan-Åke Hedlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eros André was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. If Lázár Lévay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eros André was a little too slow when Jan-Åke Hedlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Valencia CF Mindszent's Bob Sinclair was substituted for Jan-Åke Hedlund. The audience thought a goal was coming when Levente Lendvay got free with Eros André in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eros André showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Sinclair, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Bob Sinclair made a great header on Valencia CF Mindszent's corner, it was just that Paradox FC's Eros André managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob Sinclair in the 89th minute of play forced Paradox FC's goalkeeper Eros André to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valencia CF Mindszent's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
