Francana's Charlie Boström made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Paulo Vaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, São José E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Aykut Canel came free, but Luiz Paulo Vaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Paulo Vaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Boström's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Luiz Paulo Vaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykut Canel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charlie Boström to make the kick off. Francana's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 88th minute of the match, Charlie Boström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Paulo Vaz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aykut Canel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Luiz Paulo Vaz made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, São José E.
