Fryderyk Dziewulski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Laerte Cardozo made a huge save. If Santiago Torrente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laerte Cardozo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Dziewulski in the 7th minute of the match. Esra Breidert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 江响斌, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Laerte Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Dziewulski in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 江响斌 in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esra Breidert saved FC Traktor Götz from getting behind. Eiras SD were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after FC Traktor Götz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Santiago Torrente took the corner. Esra Breidert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Torrente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Ralf Große Verspohl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Traktor Götz getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Carl Gulatz hit a great ball. When Nelsinho Nunes fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eiras SD's protests and gave Nelsinho Nunes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Eiras SD getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Nelsinho Nunes hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Eiras SD's goalkeeper Laerte Cardozo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fryderyk Dziewulski. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

FC Traktor Götz's Giacomo Grau was substituted for Arne Prestin. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fryderyk Dziewulski to make the kick off. Laerte Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Dziewulski in the 58th minute of play. Manos Di Cola hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. FC Traktor Götz made a substitution. Hector Ahlen replaced Lennard Backes. The supporters of FC Traktor Götz booed when Eiras SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Di Cola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laerte Cardozo came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Traktor Götz's Fryderyk Dziewulski. But to his dismay, Fryderyk Dziewulski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC Traktor Götz's Giacomo Grau got a free kick in the 79th minute. Laerte Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Romero in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute Fryderyk Dziewulski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Laerte Cardozo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Eiras SD got a freekick which was hit by Manos Di Cola. Eiras SD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
