In the 15th minute Nathaniel Burnett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaldo Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute Imbituba - FSCMZ were awarded a corner. Pedro Luís Fonseca went to the cornerflag to take it. Reinaldo Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Imbituba - FSCMZ's Nathaniel Burnett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reinaldo Cardoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Imbituba - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Adilson Araújo scored to the left of an out of position Sidney Motta, making the score, 2-3. Nathaniel Burnett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reinaldo Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Nathaniel Burnett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reinaldo Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 48th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nathaniel Burnett was the one to do the kick off. Reinaldo Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathaniel Burnett in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Imbituba - FSCMZ got a corner. Encardidos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pedro Luís Fonseca ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Encardidos's goalkeeper Reinaldo Cardoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Imbituba - FSCMZ made a substitution. Válbson Pimenta replaced Berenguer Anda. Reinaldo Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson Pimenta in the 70th minute. Válbson Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidney Motta came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Encardidos's Adilson Araújo. But to his dismay, Adilson Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. 81 minutes into the match, Encardidos's goalkeeper Reinaldo Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Pimenta. 85 minutes into the match, Encardidos's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Pimenta came free, but Reinaldo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Ersan Ergüleç ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reinaldo Cardoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersan Ergüleç in the 92nd minute of play forced Encardidos's goalkeeper Reinaldo Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Válbson Pimenta got free with Reinaldo Cardoso in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the game, Ersan Ergüleç lined in a short shot 3-6 behind a frustrated Reinaldo Cardoso. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Imbituba - FSCMZ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
