The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Sebastian Jayvier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cyprian Tipinski was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 5th match minute, Inmortales FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Begay to maneuver through the defense. If Sebastian Jayvier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christer Johnsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fernando Arquett having to make a save. Cyprian Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Jayvier in the 18th minute of play. Fernando Arquett made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Christer Johnsson sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 24 minutes, Sebastian Jayvier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mercado Paulista F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Jayvier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cyprian Tipinski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Jayvier's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christer Johnsson in the 35th minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Fernando Arquett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Arquett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christer Johnsson in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christer Johnsson in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Arquett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Inmortales FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Andrew Reilly hit a great ball. Jonathan Arixo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Cyprian Tipinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercado Paulista F.C. After having played for 44 minutes, Milosz Kochanowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inmortales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milosz Kochanowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inmortales FC's Christer Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Inmortales FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mercado Paulista F.C were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastian Jayvier to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Inmortales FC booed when Mercado Paulista F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Funes Mori didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Ştefan Daimacă notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mercado Paulista F.C's Fernando Arquett. Fernando Arquett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sebastian Jayvier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Cyprian Tipinski made a huge save. 78 minutes into the game, Inmortales FC's Ştefan Daimacă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Arquett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 81 minutes in the game Ramiro Funes Mori did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Sebastian Jayvier. 88 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Daimacă came free, but Fernando Arquett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Telo Estruch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyprian Tipinski having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mercado Paulista F.C's Sebastian Jayvier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cyprian Tipinski. That made the score 2-2 after 93 minutes of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
