When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Jorge Carrascal took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Emmanuel Canturri to make any attempt to save it. Vânderson Saa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltazar Glerfoss in the 44th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Celsinho Corrêa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emmanuel Canturri. That made the score 3-0 in the 47 minute of play. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Tang Yang Le was substituted for Arí Paraibano. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ made a substitution. Felippe Pitta replaced Raoul Böhm. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emmanuel Canturri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
