In the 55thth minute of the game Juarês Pena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Icozeira AD's Manolo Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Icozeira AD's Joel Trigo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Juarês Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 59 played minutes Icozeira AD got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Pernambucano. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jacinto Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itakami RJ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manolo Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Peres in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manolo Peixoto saved Icozeira AD from getting behind. Acácio Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Basílio Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juarês Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juarês Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juarês Pena hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. If Juarês Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manolo Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juarês Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Marcelo da Cunha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manolo Peixoto having to make a save. Jacinto Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Icozeira AD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
