In the 72nd minute, Cláudio Miranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The St Louis F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After having played for 79 minutes, Pedro Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirim Taubate FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the match, St Louis F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Tavares came free, but Gilmar Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mirim Taubate FC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after St Louis F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiago Linhares took the corner. A collision led to St Louis F.C. getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Cláudio Miranda hit a great ball. After 88 minutes, Cléber Ribeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the St Louis F.C. and the Mirim Taubate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, St Louis F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. Gilmar Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Seco in the 90th minute. Pedro Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilmar Paraíba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Mirim Taubate FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
