Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olavo Paraibano kicked off to start the match. 0-1 became the score in the 8th minute when Olavo Paraibano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Macaroca's Olavo Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Paulo Ramos came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 16th minute. If Zé Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olavo Paraibano in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Moreno saved Amplicon FBPA from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Amplicon FBPA's Amadeu Cunha got a free kick in the 30th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Macaroca's Vicente Mesquita tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zé Lima's late challenge caught a Macaroca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Lima helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amplicon FBPA's goalkeeper Otávio Moreno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Otávio Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olavo Paraibano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olavo Paraibano in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Moreno saved Amplicon FBPA from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Lima was the one to do the kick off. If Tibúrcio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otávio Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Paraibano in the 54th minute of play. Olavo Paraibano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Luiz Paulo Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Lima in the 81st minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, Amplicon FBPA's Zé Lima made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Paulo Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Tibúrcio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amplicon FBPA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Macaroca had controlled the match.
