Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dinei Ferraz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Juru getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ademar Branco hit a great ball. Caco Quirino's late challenge caught a Juru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caco Quirino helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes Tahim AD got a freekick which was hit by Caco Quirino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felippe Gomes in the 15th minute of play forced Tahim AD's goalkeeper Richard Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felippe Gomes in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Novaes saved Tahim AD from getting behind. After 18 minutes, Cristian Dantas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tahim AD and the Juru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cristian Dantas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Noel Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felippe Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Richard Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tahim AD's zone, Noel Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Novaes came out of the goal and Noel Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes of play Tahim AD's Cristian Dantas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Juru booed when Tahim AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarbas Chaves, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Richard Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Richard Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Gomes in the 34th minute of play. After 35 minutes Tahim AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jarbas Chaves who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jarbas Chaves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Richard Novaes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nico Arósio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Juru's Felippe Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Noel Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juru's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Novaes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richard Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felippe Gomes in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Noel Maia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Richard Novaes made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Tahim AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felippe Gomes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 61 minutes into the match, Noel Maia notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tahim AD's Richard Novaes. Richard Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Noel Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felippe Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Novaes having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Christian Matorin made a precise shot to the right of Giovani Viana. Juru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 81st minute, Noel Maia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When Christian Matorin fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tahim AD's protests and gave Christian Matorin a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Tahim AD got a freekick which was hit by Christian Matorin. Jarbas Chaves, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Júlio Maranhense hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Noel Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Noel Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Maia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
