Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Téo Breckenfeld started the match with the kick off. Benê Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe de Senna having to interfere. Cláudio Quirino struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Giuseppe de Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gussolandia. José da Silva's late challenge caught a Gussolandia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José da Silva helped the player get up and apologised. José da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. João Urbano might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giuseppe de Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Urbano ran back to his position shaking his head. Giuseppe de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benê Toscano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Cláudio Quirino in the 23rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Giuseppe de Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Urbano in the 26th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, João Urbano notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SPARTA F C's Giuseppe de Senna. Giuseppe de Senna was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. João Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe de Senna having to interfere. Cláudio Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Giuseppe de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Urbano took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giuseppe de Senna. Giuseppe de Senna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Gussolandia's Benê Toscano got a free kick in the 41st minute. After recieving a nice pass, SPARTA F C's André Luiz Maciel tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. João Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe de Senna having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cláudio Quirino made a kick off. João Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Renato de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute of the match Silvério Madureira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giuseppe de Senna showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Giuseppe de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Urbano in the 57th minute. Cláudio Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Giuseppe de Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SPARTA F C's Waldemar Senna got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, SPARTA F C's goalkeeper Giuseppe de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Urbano. João Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe de Senna having to interfere. Waldemar Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente de Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldemar Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute, João Urbano made a precise shot to the right of Giuseppe de Senna. SPARTA F C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A hard shot 84 in the game by João Urbano from a close distance when the talented Giuseppe de Senna managed to make a qualified save. SPARTA F C's players were relieved. After having played for 85 minutes, Cláudio Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gussolandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cláudio Quirino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SPARTA F C's Giuseppe de Senna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save SPARTA F C from getting a goal against them. The SPARTA F C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gussolandia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
